11 Things You Can Do to Improve Your Life Right Now
It's very difficult to identify tips that will be useful for a wide range of people. However, there are some basic principles that are universal and effective for everyone.

1. Develop a consistent morning routine.
There are many strategies one can use to become productive in the morning and all of them will work differently for different people. Being productive in the morning can create a positive mindset throughout the day so you are less likely to give up or procrastinate.
The first step to becoming more productive is having a routine. You should have three things that you do each time you wake up in the morning: 1) get dressed, 2) eat breakfast, 3) brush your teeth. This routine will help you feel more confident and prepared for the day ahead.
2. Do a bunch of little productive tasks.
Another way to be productive is by doing small tasks that are not too difficult or time-consuming throughout your day. These little tasks will give you a sense of accomplishment which will motivate you to do even more tasks and work harder in the future. For example, if you clean up your desk area before going home from work, then study for an hour or two after dinner, and take some time to relax at night.
3. Setting realistic and attainable goals.
This is a powerful way to keep yourself on track and preventing from being overwhelmed by the task at hand. Setting out small achievable goals will allow you to feel accomplished every time you complete one of these tasks.
4. Challenging negative thoughts.
Negative thoughts can often derail your plans, so it's important that you identify what is going wrong for you and counter those thoughts with a positive thought about the situation. For example, if I am struggling to find a new job and saying this brings me down then I should counter that with a reminder on how I am fortunate enough to have strong skills that make me an attractive candidate, or remembering all the opportunities there are out there waiting for me, etc.
5. Getting your 8 to 9 hours of sleep
It's important not only for your physical health but also mental health as well! Sleep deprivation can cause insomnia as well as depression which will affect your overall mood and productivity.
6. Participating in physical activity
Physical activity is vital for mental health. Exercise releases endorphins that make you feel good and it can also help with anxiety, low mood, stress and sleep. It also increases energy levels and helps clear your mind to allow you to think more clearly.
7. Practicing gratitude.
Practicing gratitude has been shown to increase happiness levels. Focusing on what we have instead of what's missing or not enough can improve mental health significantly, as well as reduce symptoms of depression.
8. Make a list of your achievements.
Which should include the times you've been clever, courageous, or just competent.
9. Go outside.
Go outside and walk around. Doesn't matter where!
10. Exercise.
Exercise at least 30 minutes each day by doing a physical activity that challenges you and makes your heart beat faster such as yoga, running, you can go to the gym, etc.
11. No excuses.
Stop making excuses for why you can't do something that's good for you.
